Overview

OrderMAX ("we," "us," or "our") is a Shopify application that helps merchants manage special orders, work orders, and purchase orders. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

By installing and using OrderMAX, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Information We Collect

When you install OrderMAX, we collect and store the following through the Shopify API and your use of the app:

• Store information — your Shopify store domain and access credentials needed to operate the app
• Customer information — names, email addresses, and phone numbers associated with orders you create inside OrderMAX
• Order data — special orders, work orders, and purchase orders you create, including line items, statuses, notes, and payment records
• Vendor information — vendor contact names, email addresses, and purchasing details you enter into the app
• Product information — Shopify product and variant data accessed when adding items to orders

We do not collect payment card numbers or process payments directly. All payment processing is handled by Shopify.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect solely to provide and improve the OrderMAX service:

• Creating, storing, and displaying your orders within the app
• Sending automated status update emails to your customers on your behalf
• Sending purchase order emails to your vendors on your behalf
• Syncing order and inventory data with your Shopify store
• Providing customer support when you contact us

We do not sell your data or your customers' data to any third party. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.

Third-Party Services

OrderMAX uses the following third-party services to operate:

• Shopify — our platform partner. Your store data is subject to Shopify's Privacy Policy.
• Resend — used to send transactional emails (order status updates and purchase orders) on your behalf. Resend processes recipient email addresses for delivery purposes only. See Resend's Privacy Policy.
• Fly.io — our hosting provider. Application data is stored on servers operated by Fly.io. See Fly.io's Privacy Policy.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in a secure database hosted on Fly.io infrastructure. We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls.

No method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your store's data for as long as your OrderMAX subscription is active. When you uninstall OrderMAX from your Shopify store, we will delete your store's data from our systems within 30 days of receiving the uninstall notification from Shopify.

Your Rights

As a merchant using OrderMAX, you have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about your store
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Export your order data at any time from within the app

If you are a customer of a merchant using OrderMAX, please contact that merchant directly regarding your personal data. The merchant controls what data is entered into OrderMAX on your behalf.

Children's Privacy

OrderMAX is a business application intended for use by merchants. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of OrderMAX after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
